David Quigley is a man who has used women for decades.
For years, I worked for him—helping him set up his online platform, heal his teeth and gums, manage his income, and restructure his business. Now, he’s gone online professionally because of me, and yet he lies! He claims I owe him, when in reality, I should be the one receiving money—but he refuses to pay. For three years, we worked together properly, until Pat stole everything from me and handed it to herself and him! Pat acted like she was my friend, taking care of me—until she got everything she wanted and found an excuse to cut me out. She stole my income stream and divided it between herself and Quigley. On top of that, she hired all my friends—the very people I had brought into the business. I had convinced them that everything was fine, even though they were hesitant because they knew Quigley had a history of fooling people. Quigley was always like that, but Pat pretends to befriend and protect those she intends to use. She plays the role of a loyal ally until she no longer needs someone—then she casts them aside without hesitation. She pretends to hate Quigley’s lack of integrity, speaking as if she’s above it all. She insists he is an abuser, as though she’s separate from his actions, as though she’s the righteous one calling him out. But in truth, she enables him, benefits from his betrayals, and ensures that no one who has helped him is left with anything. And Quigley? He always acts as if he resents Pat for the money he had to pay her, as if she bled him dry—when in reality, she was the one orchestrating the entire scheme, ensuring they both profited while others suffered. It’s a game they play: he feigns victimhood, she feigns morality, and together, they erase the people who made their success possible. I hadn’t fully seen or understood Pat’s role in all of this before, but now I do. She always spoke badly about certain people—always women. I never understood why, but now it’s clear: Quigley would initially give money to these women until they had delivered what he needed. Then, just as predictably, Pat would step in to make sure they were erased from the picture.

The Most Honorable Woman I ever met was a participant during my first certification in alchemical hypnosis in 2014. She was a participant who had completed the course work but was distracted by something during the exam and therefore was required to repeat the exam for certification. David Quigley treated her horribly. She sees far beyond the ordinary. Her spiritual intelligence outreaches many people, and every single one of my spiritually conscientious friends are very honorable. This woman is a true genius. David Quigley asked the group to give feedback about our experience, and she was honest about her being very annoyed -- it was important to her to get her due certificate (forever fuck that bitch said Quigley). My friend had agreed to receive training and spend her whole money -- it was all she had left -- of $ 2500 in the desire to have a professional certificate to make money, after Patricia Haggard had promised her yes, she will walk out with a successful hypnosis practitioner certificate. Instead of helping her, David Quigley became upset and refused to let her retest to complete her certificate. He was flirting with and getting money from the woman who distracted her. My friend had spent her entire budget for this. All that was necessary was that she needed to take advantage of the promise to be able to retest for a small fee. What is the issue? He has a policy that he will on a whim fire anyone from the training whom he labels as disruptive. Despite all of his genius he is unable to discern whether the disruption is someone else or himself. I built the online delivery system that saved Alchemical Hypnotherapy training during Covid. What began as a trust-based partnership with David Quigley, director of the Alchemy Institute, and Patricia Haggard of Bridges Academy turned into betrayal, exploitation, and financial loss.
We had a verbal agreement: I would take Quigley’s training online for one-third of the profit. At the time, his in-person classes barely drew two or three students. With my system in place, online delivery became the only income for him and Patricia during the pandemic. Yet instead of honoring our agreement, they forced me out and kept everything. I nearly quit when Quigley humiliated a Swiss student during class, mocking her request for structure as wanting “a Swiss watch.” She was brilliant, kind, and deeply hurt. I defended her, but Quigley attacked both of us in front of everyone. His arrogance made him “untenable” as a teacher, but I stayed because the online delivery was my creation and livelihood. I told Patricia I was ready to revamp the training with her support. A week later, she broke our agreement and cut me out entirely. The income stream I built for long-term prosperity was stolen, leaving me with nothing. The truth: I was the entrepreneurial initiator and director of online delivery. Patricia handled customer service. Quigley, who called himself “the boss,” delivered his material and therefore was merely the instructor. The two of them now profit from my effort, while I live with the consequences of misplaced trust. This is what happens when verbal agreements rooted in trust meet the greed of settler-colonial America. They broke the agreement. But I created this sustainable livelihood. And I am left with zero. |
